Admin troubleshooting
Can't sign in to the console
- Confirm you're at app.gafferai.uk/login (not .com, not another domain).
- Try password reset if you're not sure of the password.
- Clear the browser cookies for app.gafferai.uk and try again.
- Still stuck? Email support — we can check the account.
Dashboard looks blank or stuck
- Hard refresh —
Cmd+Shift+R(Mac) orCtrl+Shift+R(Windows). - Check the online indicator top-right of the app header. If it says offline, it's your network.
- If you just created the company, the dashboard is empty on purpose — add a job and a worker first.
AI briefing is vague or empty
It needs data. In order:
- Add at least one active job.
- Have at least one worker clock in.
- Upload at least one RAMS.
After a few days of activity the briefing gets specific. If you still see nothing after a week of use, email us — we'll look.
Worker isn't in the list
- Clear the Workers filter — easy to forget a typed filter is still active.
- Check they aren't archived. Filter → Status → All.
- Check you're on the right company if you have multiple.
Numbers look stale
Most panels refresh every 30 seconds. If they don't:
- Refresh the page.
- Check the online indicator — if it's offline, you'll see whatever was cached last.
- Look at Recent Activity — if it's empty for the day, no events have come in, which is usually a permissions problem on worker phones (see Worker troubleshooting).
Export button does nothing
- Disable ad-blockers for app.gafferai.uk — they sometimes block CSV downloads.
- Try a different browser (Chrome or Safari).
- Check you're approved to export — on some accounts, only owners can.
