Filling in forms on the worker app

Where forms live

Open the Forms tab at the bottom of the worker app. You'll see:

  • Today's forms — forms you're expected to fill in before you clock out.
  • Job forms — everything the site requires.
  • Completed forms — what you've already submitted.

Form types

Every form is a guided series of yes/no checks, short text, and (where relevant) a signature. Common ones:

  • Daily site inspection — quick morning check before work starts.
  • Toolbox talk — briefing on a specific hazard (e.g. manual handling).
  • Near miss / incident report — for anything that almost went wrong. Submits with red priority so the office sees it fast.
  • Scaffold pre-use check — for scaffold users.
  • Method statement — acknowledgement of the method for the day.
  • Photo record — take photos of progress or a specific thing.
  • Materials request — what you need, when, and where to drop it.
  • Permit to work — request a permit for hot works, confined space, etc.
  • Site induction — for new workers or visitors on day one.

Exactly which forms appear for you depends on your job. Your admin sets this up in the form library.

Signatures

Some forms end with a signature box. Tap it, sign with your finger. You can clear and re-sign. The signature is stored with the form for the audit trail.

Photos & attachments

Where a form asks for a photo, tap the camera area, take the shot. Photos are uploaded with the rest of the form. They show up in the admin console attached to the submission.

Working offline

Forms work offline. Complete and submit as normal — the submission queues and syncs when you're back on signal. You'll see the yellow sync bar at the top until it's done.

A form isn't showing up

If the office has sent you a form and it isn't in your list:

  1. Pull down to refresh the Forms tab.
  2. Check you're signed in as the right worker.
  3. Check you're assigned to the job — forms are linked to jobs.
  4. If none of that works, message the office.
