How RAMS get signed off

Upload a RAMS document

  1. Sidebar → OperationsRAMS.
  2. Click Upload RAMS. Add the PDF, a title, and link it to the job.
  3. Pick who needs to sign — specific workers or everyone on the job.
  4. Save. The workers see it in their app within seconds.

What the worker does

On the worker's home screen they get a RAMS — Pending Sign-Off section with a red badge showing how many are outstanding. They tap in:

  1. Read the PDF — it renders in-app.
  2. Tick I've read the document, I understand the hazards, I'll follow the method.
  3. Sign with their finger.
  4. Tap Sign Off RAMS.

The sign-off includes timestamp, GPS, signature image, and the PDF they saw. That's what HSE would want to see.

Chasing stragglers

In the console, RAMS shows you a live list of who's signed and who hasn't. You can:

  • Send a nudge — one tap, goes out as a push notification.
  • Let the agent chase — it does this automatically in the morning brief if sign-off is overdue.

Audit export

Open a RAMS, click Export Audit. You get a PDF showing every sign-off: worker, timestamp, location, signature. Print or email it — HSE-ready.

Revising a RAMS

If the document changes, upload a new version. Gaffer marks the old one Superseded and requires everyone to re-sign. No-one slips through on the old method.
