Worker app
Logging into the worker app
What you need
Your admin set up two things for you:
- A worker ID — usually a number (e.g.
14). - A 4-digit PIN.
Both should have come through by text or WhatsApp. If not, ask your gaffer or the office.
- Open the Gaffer app on your phone. First time? See Install the worker app.
- Tap the worker ID field, type your number.
- Tap the PIN field, enter your 4-digit PIN.
- Tap Sign In.
How long you stay signed in
Once you're in, you stay signed in on that phone. You shouldn't need to sign in again — even after closing the app. If you sign out manually (Profile tab → Sign Out) you'll need the ID and PIN again.
PIN not working
First try:
- Make sure you're entering the ID number you were sent, not a nickname.
- Check the PIN character-by-character. Zeros are common mistakes.
- If you've just had a PIN reset, use the new PIN — the old one stops working immediately.
If that doesn't work, ask your admin to Reset PIN on your profile — they'll send you a new one.
Don't know your worker ID
Ask your admin. They can see it next to your name in the Workers page. There's no self-serve lookup — that's on purpose, so randoms can't guess a worker ID.
